“Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little”
Whilst I have been location hunting for Dash fitness classes in 2016, I came across this in West Hampstead.
It really resonated and got me thinking about fads and why we only stick at something for a few weeks, months and then it’s all “Oh yeah I used to do that” . With so many different opportunities to workout in London (Like Zumba, Core Collective, even the free park run!) – why don’t we commit?
It’s literally 1 hour a week – max. Is it because life takes over and we simply can’t be bothered because after the initial excitement of starting something new it now all seems like effort? Too much effort, right? How do we keep that spark & motivation?
I think it’s as simple as start somewhere, anywhere and don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s OK that it’s hard and it’s OK that we just can’t be bothered when we’re at that final bit. But we can all do a little – it’s only going to benefit us, seems like a no brainer.
Find your motivation & you I’m sure you can find a little in you too.
